Whiskey Saints
Led by award-winning lead singer, Cidalia America, Whiskey Saints is a 6-piece US-based band out of Boston, MA. Their intersecting styles of gritty blues and rock consistently bring audiences to their feet. In 2022, they were featured in the largest Portuguese festival in the US (New Bedford, MA), headlined Gillette Stadium’s Patriot Place outdoor stage, and opened for several semi-national acts.
Members:

Cidalia America - Lead Vocals
Whiskey Saints is undeniably defined by Lead Vocalist Cidalia America. Born into a musical family, as a child Cidalia often used music as a private escape, dabbling in chorus and musical theater. She wouldn’t share the full range of her talents until her late 30s when she joined her first band, Wicked Blue. In 2018, guitarist Kevin Curran asked Cidalia to join a new heavy rock and blues project that would ultimately turn into “Whiskey Saints”. Cidalia additionally joined the seasonal TSO tribute band “Ornament” in 2019, and was voted in 2022 as Tri-State (MA, RI & CT) Top Vocalist.
Kevin Curran - Guitar
Kevin began his lifelong endeavor playing guitar in the Boston metal scene in the early 1980’s. His band Assassin was the first area band to cover music by the likes of Saxon, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Raven, and Iron Maiden to name a few. The band later morphed into the band Steel Assassin, disbanding in the 90s, only to reform in 2005 and sign to Sentinel Steel Records, releasing their hallmark “War of the Eight Saints”, while playing supporting shows at the Keep it True Festival in Germany, the Play it Loud Festival in Italy and the Warriors of Metal Festival in the USA. Kevin went on to become one of the founding members of Whiskey Saints in 2018 with a desire to pursue new avenues of Blues Rock and explore heartfelt and gritty blues rock compositions.
Dave Liolios - Bass, Lead/Backing Vocals
Rocking a booming voice, boisterous laugh, bold playing style, and a giant bass clef tattoo on his forearm, a picture of Dave Liolios is what you would find if you looked up “rock bassist” in the dictionary. Over the past four decades, Dave has been involved in numerous Boston area bands and played on dozens of recordings as a session bassist. “Whiskey Saints provides an opportunity to add texture and dynamics to a classic style of music while adding the urgency and aggression of my heavier musical roots” says Dave.
Crissy Azzinaro - Guitar
Backing Vocals Hailing from Westerly, Rhode Island, Crissy grew up in a musical family and began playing guitar at the age of 5. Taught by her uncles, she grew up a child of the 70s, profoundly inspired by the decade’s rock and blues artists. Crissy has led a multifaceted life and career, balancing her law practice with finding her way back to playing & performing. She was a founding member of the south shore Massachusetts band Wicked Blue, where she first crossed paths with vocalist Cidalia America and bassist Dave Liolios. Her influences include The Allman Brothers Band, The Doobie Brothers, Bonnie Raitt, Sly & The Family Stone, Steely Dan, James Taylor, and Gladys Knight & the Pips.
Jerry Bates - Percussion, Lead/Backing Vocals
Jerry has been behind a drum kit for a good part of the last 50 years. As a New England native, he studied percussion and performance at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He played drums in Las Vegas before coming back to the Boston area. Jerry has sung in local theater groups and sat in for half a dozen bands in the New England area. “I really love and appreciate all genres of music. My main drumming influences have been: Steve Smith, Ringo Starr, Neil Peart, Vinny Colaiuta, Simon Phillips, Steve Gadd, Louie Bellson, Buddy Rich, but that’s really just a few” says Jerry.
Mike Fradkin - Keyboards, Backing Vocals
Mike has been playing rock keyboard for 40 years in local bands Raw Deal, A New Machine, and Moonstruck as well as percussion in the group Gorilla Cookies. Mike has played historical Boston clubs like The Channel, Bunratty’s, Axis, The Harp, The Hard Rock, Copperfields and has opened for national acts like The Alarm, Blue Oyster Cult, and Grammy winner Lori McKenna. In 2022, he joined Whiskey Saints on keyboard, adding a new element to the band's existing signature heavy blues rock sound. Mike considers himself a product of the award-winning Stoughton, MA music program in which he played classical and jazz trombone for 10 years. Though he hasn’t stayed current with the instrument he states “everything I know about musical collaboration, preparation, respect for music, setting goals and putting in work came from that program.”
Ghost Train
Formed in early 2016 when 5 veterans of the South Shore and Central MA music scenes came together, Ghost Train is intent on creating their own brand of rock and blues with a harder edge. The collaboration quickly inspired a number of hard hitting rock and blues-infused original songs, resulting in their 2016 debut CD “Willing To Sacrifice”. Stylistically eclectic, Ghost Train’s songs draw influence from various rock and blues greats ranging from Ritchie Blackmore to Joe Bonamassa. Over the years Ghost Train has performed in clubs, events, and festivals across New England and has become known for putting on a powerful, exciting show featuring their originals and covers of artists such as ZZ Top, Gary Moore, Santana, The Allman Brothers, Deep Purple, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and the like.
