Not long after his second SOLD OUT Show at The Fallout Shelter this past March, Chris asked if he could celebrate the release of his first album for the prestigious Alligator Records at the Fallout Shelter the week of it's release on September 21. We are honored to be chosen!
Back in the "pre-pandemic" day we hosted the Chris O'Leary Band one hot summer night in 2019. It was majestic, hard driving, rumbling, rocking blues that make your chest thump and you feet shuffle...Chris’s musical background includes duties as lead singer and front man for rock and roll hall of famer and Grammy award winner Levon Helm’s band, The Barnburners. During the 6 years that Chris and Levon played together they toured across the US and Canada lighting up stages everywhere they went. Chris has appeared on stage with: Legendary Rolling Stones sideman Bobby Keys, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmy Vivino, Jeff Healy, Dan Akroyd, Albert Lee, Dave Edmunds, Dave Maxwell and the great James Cotton to name just a few. Chris has also recorded with Bill Perry and Hubert Sumlin, among others.The Chris O’Leary Band’s debut CD “Mr. Used to Be” won the 2011 Best New Artist Debut CD Blues Blast Award and was nominated for best new artist debut at the 2011 American Blues Music Awards.This cat is the REAL DEAL a decorated Marine Veteran with blues in his soul and rock and roll oozing from his band.
This is gonna ROCK your world!! The Fallout Shelter is an all ages performance venue welcoming worldwide, world class music in an intimate setting. Our studio audience attends to watch the creation and production of the music television series The Extended Play Sessions. The Fallout Shelter events are immersive experiences for both audience and performers alike...a live music experience like no other. We are fully ADA compliant and have wheelchair access. We have a wide selection of beer and wine for your adult beverage pleasures and each show comes with a free commemorative event poster. Our doors open at 6PM. Seating is General Admission. We recommend you arrive at the time the doors open.
