THE DARRELL NULISCH BAND
The Blues ALL-STAR BAND Returns to The Fallout Shelter!
This is as ALL-STAR BAND as ALL-STAR BANDS gets...Darrell aside, add the incendiary guitar player Chris Vitarello, Hammond organ master Dave Limina (Ronnie Earl and The Broadcasters) and the magnificent rhythm section of Mike Law on bass and Lorne Entress on drums and you have one of the best bands you could possibly assemble in this region of the country. The show we hosted in March 2024 was SOLD OUT and they absolutely crushed it. The place was electric, the band fired on all cylinders and Darrell Nulisch was incredible!!
Darrell Nulisch is one of the region...and, frankly, the country's best "blue-eyed" soul and blues voices. He was born and raised in Dallas, TX listening to the sounds of Otis Redding and Al Green which obviously rubbed off on him. He was a founding member of Anson Funderberg and The Rockets which became the precursor to the explosion of Texas Blues with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Ray Vaughan etc... Nulisch went North to New England and landed the gig as vocalist for Ronnie Earl and The Broadcasters and then as vocalist for the legendary James Cotton. Oh, and did I mention Darrell Nulisch is one BADASS harmonica player?
