THE BRIAN THOMAS BAND
The Annual Last Saturday Of The Year Show!
When Brian Thomas rolled in to The Fallout Shelter in December 2022 to promote his new album "On the Bone" he brought an ALL-STAR ensemble with him to pull off one of the best shows of the year...They recorded Brian Thomas LIVE At The Fallout Shelter that evening and featured the brilliant sax master Jared Sims on bari sax, Steve Fell on guitar, Sam Gilman on the Hammond Organ and keys, Tom Arey on drums and...add to that quartet one of the best trombone players on the East Coast and you have a band that ripped from the opening note to the last standing ovation. Who knows who Brian will be bringing to this 2024 show but you can bet it will be better than ever!! This was funk-jazz like they did it old school in the 70's. Brilliant from the get-go. That band returns exactly one year to the day from last year's show. It was SOLD OUT then and it'll be SOLD OUT this time...you want to see it!! Here's a LOOK! This year Brian is collaborating with long time musical partner Alex Lee-Clark to present a septet version of their mighty BT ALC Big Band. You can expect reimagined versions of classic BT ALC Big Band tunes plus a few surprises.
UPDATE: What a lineup!!!! The BT-ALC BIG BAND SEPTET!!!
