THE LUKE CURRAN BAND
With Special Guest Jacob Crawford
The Fallout Shelter - 61 Endicott Street, Norwood, MA, 02062
Luke Curran is one of those anomaly findings from a random Open Mic Night. He was a few bars into his first song and it was pretty well established he was going to be a returning entity to the Fallout Shelter. If you weren't blown away by his voice, you were blown away by his insanely good guitar skills...and if it wasn't those two things it was his incredible songwriting. That show hit our stage in April and it was everything we expected and so much more. Luke Curran has all the mechanisms in place to cement superstar status. His band is made up of our own Connor Quigley on lead guitar and our bartender Zac Stein on drums. Based in the Boston area but with roots in Northern Michigan and the Gulf Coast of Florida, Luke Curran delivers a combination of midwestern angst and southern musical tradition in his songwriting and multi-instrumental performances. His music and lyrics draw inspiration from bluegrass, folk, and rock, influenced by artists like Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, Tony Rice, and John Prine. Also joining Luke, Connor and Zac are two additional brilliant musicians. Hazel Royer and Moriah Ozberkmen.

Here's "Pocket Change" From The Luke Curran Band at The Fallout Shelter in April 2025
Opening this show will be another one of our "finds" from Open Mic Night, the immensely talented Jacob Crawford. Much like Luke Curran, Jacob took the stage at an early Open Mic and we knew he had all the makings to be an opener at The fallout Shelter and we gave him a few more Open Mic appearances before we actually made him an offer to open. He's friends with Luke and Connor is producing his debut recording so it seemed like a natural fit.
